Shipping Policy
1. Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within [1-3] business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We currently ship to physical addresses within South Africa.

Main Centers include: Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London, George, and Bloemfontein.
Outlying Areas: Any location more than 50km from a Main Center.
Delivery delays can occasionally occur.
3. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
4. International Shipping
We currently ship to select international destinations. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us for a custom quote.
International Shipping Rates & Estimates
Your shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order and your destination.

Handling Time: International orders require 1-2 additional business days for processing to complete customs documentation.
Couriers Used: We use premium carriers (DHL, FedEx, or Aramex) to ensure tracking visibility. We do not use the South African Post Office (SAPO) for international parcels due to reliability concerns.
5. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes (International)
Important: All international orders are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU).
Curiosity Cove is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order.
All fees imposed during or after shipping (tariffs, taxes, VAT, etc.) are the responsibility of the customer (you).
If you refuse to pay these duties and the package is returned to us, we will deduct the return shipping cost from your refund.
4. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Curiosity Cove is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
(Note: This section is standard, but mainly applies if you decide to ship internationally. For now, we recommend stating: “We currently do not ship outside of South Africa.”)
5. Damages
Curiosity Cove is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
6. PO Boxes
Please note that we utilize door-to-door courier services (such as The Courier Guy/Internet Express). Therefore, we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Please provide a physical street address at checkout to ensure delivery.
